Pll why mad at emily

Mona was the one who knocked Ali down? Why would she do that? Hanna closes her eyes, disappointed, and then goes to alert the others. He is already there, rummaging through his desk drawers. The Liars also demand to know about his friendship with Charlotte, and after a few moments, he finally obliges. Lucas reveals that he and Charlotte were close as kids at camp, but their friendship eventually faded into emails. They kept in touch throughout high school, while Charlotte was in Radley, and he informed her about all the times Ali bullied him in school.

And, oh yeah, they never finished writing the story. The other Liars soon exit the loft, leaving Hanna and Lucas alone. In turn, Hanna explains that she never really suspected Lucas of being A. Lucas, a red herring? Back home, Emily and Ali are working on the nursery together.

The conversation soon takes a serious turn when Ali reveals that she wants to have a family — with Emily. But I know the reason. She tells Emily that she loves her!!! Meanwhile, Spencer is meeting with Marco again at the police station.

As the episode reaches its close, we see Aria come home after her long night of evil-doing. She takes off her jacket, catching sight of an angry red slash on her arm — probably from when she was trashing the nursery. We see A. Grabbing a handful of markers, A. First, we see a tree Yes, Pretty Little Liars. The show was and still is my jam, but only for superficial reasons at first.

It was campy and dramatic and full of cute guys—ideal escapism for a closeted teenager. But my love for it grew deeper after an episode from the first season titled "Reality Bites Me. I've never identified more with a character than I did with Emily in this moment—not even Kurt Hummel on Glee. So with Pretty Little Liars ending this evening, I wanted to revisit that scene. Yes, the show is ridiculous and, at times, eye-roll-inducing , but it has a beating heart—something I discovered at a critical point in my life when I needed to feel less alone.

For that, I'll always be grateful to I. Marlene King and the entire PLL cast. The scene is very hard to watch, mainly because of what happens right before it. Emily and her then girlfriend, Maya, had just finished eating dinner with Emily's parents.

On the outside, it seemed like everything went well, but what Emily couldn't see was Pam sneaking off to the kitchen every few minutes and crying. So when Pam drops the "sick" bomb after Maya leaves, Emily is understandably shocked and devastated.

For one hour Emily thought her mother was cool with her sexuality and she wouldn't have to hide who she was anymore. She was wrong. View Iframe URL. The contentious relationship between Emily and Pam plays out for several more episodes; in fact, Pam doesn't fully accept Emily until a few seasons later. Remember a few episodes back, when Ian paid off that random guy to accept the blackmail money on his behalf for that video of him and Ali?

This scene made me think of that. And with SUCH a good episode to recap, too! Was it worth waiting five months for! Now, I got this email when I woke up this morning and I only had four hours of sleep because my Ian Harding mind was on hyperactive, So I read it before leaving for school.

Awesome as always, my good Eeyore! Did you know I started reading your recaps about this time of the year? Now on to Spoby. You know, during the way too long hiatus I realized that I am not as big of a Spoby shipper as I was when they first started out; I just like Wren too much.

Plus, I get tired of my sister talking about him. Haleb was limited this week but Lucas made me smile as he always does. Then Caleb and his friendship is going bad. There was so much of them and so much wonderful acting between Ian and Lucy. I was sobbing uncontrollably. I could not contain myself. When he walked in on Aria and Jackie arguing, I knew that it was almost time for the truth to come out.

Though the Mr. Fitz shirt was a good idea and that could have worked! We wanted to tell you something important…. I understand that finding out that their daughter is dating her old English teach must have been shocking for them. I don;t blame Ella for being upset; she befriended Ezra and trusted him before the whole thing with Spencer and then now with Aria.

We knew what was coming with her. He had an affair with his student and then makes Aria swear not to say anything. Mike, though I was mad at first when he punched my poor baby, probably won the Best Little Brother of the Year award. Last night topped off my infatuation with him by A LOT more. Then he told her: "Get out. I don't want anything from you. I will not let you do anything to her. So, get out. Ezria is obviously going to face some turmoil after coming out to the world and going public, but if any couple can do it and still be stronger in the end, it's them.

They have been through so much bull, its made them so much stronger and closer. I know they can made it through this mess, I just know it! I will talk to you then! Again, as always, great job on this recap!

Hey Tigger! And I just absolutely adored your recap. Some of my favorite gifs were, of course, the Damon one, the Tigger one, and the Seth Cohen one. Seth Cohen! I feel like Fitzy gets a lot of flack in the PLL fandom for not being strong or aggressive enough. He took charge of the situation with Jackie, as soon as he learned about it. Aria was keeping the blackmail from Fitzy to protect him. Fitzy had to make the initial confession. She recognizes that he has a lot more to lose in this than she does.

I do wonder if Fitzy will find some way to get revenge on Jackie for what she did. Part of me hopes so. Like you, I was a bit annoyed by Spoby this week, as well, though I do think the way both characters behaved was consistent with who we know them to be. I also thought the comment he made comparing Spencer to Ali was really out of line.

If anything, Emily came off as being the more aggressive and manipulative one. I just think the Lanna relationship would be more interesting to watch, since Lucas brings out a dorky, sweet side of Hanna that the super cool and hot Caleb never could. My only concern is that the writers might ultimately make my Lucas into some crazypants wackadoo. And that would make me very sad, indeed. We always have so much fun! I am sorry to say your beloved Lucas has lost it….

As much as i loooooveeee Toby…even his season one creepiness, i really was annoyed with him this episode. As a viewer i knew for a fact that the girls were playing a game…but here comes Toby tryna save the day and ruin plans for everyone.

Speaking of Toby, which then leads to Spencer, who is played by Troian Bellisario…. Plus in the clip, the hooded freak was not as tall as Emily, or roughly the same which cancels out Caleb and Toby…and leaves Lucas and Garrett looking at the Canadian promo…i might say Lucas.

Lucas Something is going terribly wrong with this child, and i would hate to believe that his behavior is ONLY because of his devoted love for Ms. There has to be more…explaining the creepy website he was on before. For some reason, his laptop made me remember the weird behavior of Mike. IDK if you remember, but at one point, Mike was on his laptop looking at something suspicious online…. We never actually figured out what he was looking at…..

Anyways back to Lucas. I honestly think he is doing some dirty work for A, and i know he has it in him…. He has a few loose bolts in his cranium, and yes he is an adorable nerd…but in reality it is always those braniacs that are the worlds worst serial killers.

In conclusion, i believe that Lucas made a deal with A in the beginning as someone who is suppose to get close to Hannah hopefully explaining that there is more than one A , but in the process he fell in love with her, and his duty and love are in a clash…. Jackie…and i guess Ezria Am i literally the only person who feels bad for Jackie!!!! I understand that her intentions were not to stop an illegal relationship, but only to have the satisfaction of knowing no one else can have him.

Day-ummm that has got to sting like a biatch! The Swim Coach? Back to Paige… if you have seen this clip of her it explains her light tan skin…and the height is there…. Plus her motive can be theory that she was dumped by Emily…and we all know Paige has some anger issues, so she was reached by A and started the attack.

And what better way to attack your competition, than adding a little steroids in her system. That is something she would do especially since that was her goal in the first place to become captain. Also since she was dumped by Emily, so she could start dating Samara…it makes sense to why Paige would feel the need to end the short lived relationship. It is all about revenge. The episode aired on June 18, The girls are at the Brew, discussing the Woman in Black and where Spencer's sister was the night the Lodge burned down.

Emily and Hanna agree that Melissa could be the mystery woman while Spencer is using french fries and carrot sticks to map out the geography of the area to see if it is even possible for the person who arrived in the plane could have gotten to the lodge in time to save Aria, Hanna and Emily from the fire. Hanna and Aria argue about Ali possibly being alive and rescuing them from the fire. Hanna states that they never saw a body at the funeral.

Aria thinks it is crazy to believe their dead friend could be alive. Spencer is undecided if it could have been Ali that she saw coming out of the plane. Mona comes into the Brew and says that she has been thinking a lot about the Ali thing.

Mona says she didn't do it and will do anything to prove that they are all in this together, so Spencer says to take them to the lair. Mona readily agrees. The girls arrive in separate cars and Mona opens the gate to where the RV was parked, and is in shock to find it missing. The girls think that Mona is lying even though she swears she hasn't been back since she and Hanna locked the RV up the other day.

Hanna and Spencer leave in one car, and Aria and Emily being to leave too, but then wait towatch Mona leave first. Mona gets into her car and then all of a sudden, from the back seat, a hooded figure with an Ali mask starts to choke her. Mona desperately tries to reach for the flashlight to use as a weapon and Aria and Emily from a distance can tell that something is wrong, so they start heading towards the car.

Mona finally gets the flashlight and whacks "A" with it and jumps out of car, and onto the ground, gasping for breath. Emily tackles them to the ground, out of the way of the oncoming vehicle, and in the process, lands hard on a rock, badly injuring her shoulder.

In the morning Hanna comes down the stairs and receives a text from Aria stating that Mona found her car dumped behind the school and is freaking out. Hanna walks into the kitchen and Ashley talks about her time in New York. Ashley says that Wilden had more enemies than friends, and that one enemy decided to do everyone a favor. Hanna then mentions she found Ashley's phone in the mailbox.

Ashley looks at it in surprise and tells Hanna that she must have left it at the hotel and they must have messengered it back. Spencer checks her mail and she sees a letter addressed to her from the University of Pennsylvania. The letter says that she is a competetive applicant, but they are unable to offer her a place. She is distraught because this was the only school she applied to and the only option for a Hastings. Hanna and Aria walk down the street talking about the Mona incident and how Hanna is now scared that "A" is t rying to frame her mom for murder.

Shana says that she was at a swim prac tice. Hanna shouts about Shana and Jenna scraping Wilden off the side of the road, then Aria drags her off. In the computer lab at school, Paige shows Emily a computer generated model of the dorm room she envisions them sharing at Stanford. Paige hugs her in the excitement and Emily winces in pain. She tells Paige she just slept weird, not wanting to reveal how she actually hurt her shoulder.

When Emily remarks she might not be able to swim in the next meet, Paige insists that she has to; her scholarship to Stanford might depend on it. Spencer and Toby are talking in her room when Toby ignores a phone call and says he has to go.

Spencer can tell he is acting weird, but Toby won't tell her anything and leaves. At the end of English class, the girls including Mona agree to meet up at lunch and Spencer stays behind, still upset about the rejection letter she got from UPenn.

Ezra asks her what's wrong and she tells him, then asks him not to say anything because she hasn't told anybody else yet. Ezra suggests she apply to other schools and offers to help her with her essay. She talks to Ezra about her essay and he says she may not have gotten in because she decided to write about her experience at the mental hospital and how she overcame it.

He says colleges look for someone with mental stability and she shouldn't have been so upfront in her essay. While she's on the phone with Emily, Hanna discovers a bag containing her mom's muddy Manolo heels and the toothbrush she had been trying to clean them with under the kitchen sink.
